Trithemis arteriosa (red-vained Dropwing) Kasane Botswana 25/09/2014 Common throughot South Africa It is small, slender,bright red, with red wing vains and black on side of tip of abdomen. Note the forewing with basal patch (close to thorax) and hindwing with large patch.
