Troop B Advisory: I-10 east at mile post 209 is now closed due to ice on the Bonnet Carre Spillway. All traffic is being diverted to US 51. Troop B is also investigating 3 separate crashes on the spillway and we want to remind people to refrain from driving due to icy road conditions. Injury and fatality crashes are preventable, so please make the right decision and stay off the roads until the icy conditions subside.
