Tropical Depression Eighteen-E is moving westward over the open waters of the eastern North Pacific Ocean. Its centered at 5 p.m. EDT / 2 p.m. PDT about 315 miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico. Maximum sustained winds are 35 mph. A little strengthening during the next 48 hours is possible, and the depression is forecast to become a tropical storm on Thursday. There are no coastal watches or warning in effect.
