Location of Center: (as of 10:00 a.m.) 420 km East of Surigao City Coordinates: 9.5°N, 129.6°E Strength: Maximum winds of 55 kph near the center Movement: West Northwest at 9 kph Forecast Positions/Outlook: Saturday morning: 320 km East of Maasin, Leyte Sunday morning: 190 km East of Legaspi City Monday morning: 20 km North of Casiguran, Aurora Areas Having Public Storm Warning Signal PSWS # Luzon Visayas Mindanao Signal No. 1 (45-60 kph winds) None Northern Samar Western Samar Eastern Samar Dinagat Island Siargao Island Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 500 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. Tropical Depression "GORIO" will enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over Visayas and Mindanao.
