Tropical Storm Gorio (Bagyong Gorio) is expected to make landfall in Eastern Samar Saturday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA reported. Bagyong Gorio Tropical Storm Gorio At 5am Saturday, June 29, 2013, the center of Bagyong Gorio was spotted at 100 kilometers East of Borongan City with maximum winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 kph. PAGASA advised residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under signals 2 and 1 to be alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Those living in coastal areas have also been warned of big waves or storm surges.
