Troubling news! Liberian Senators alarmed over fear of potential crisis if...... Members of the Liberian Senate have expressed mixed views over what could be another form of serious war in post conflict state Liberia due to the unnecessary upward movement of the exchange rate on Liberia market. most of the senators are worried about a planed citizenss protest if both the fiscal and monetary managers of the state fail to consult the appropriate polices in keeping with economic theories to readjust the unbearable inflation rate that is almost leading the Liberian economy to a state of recession. The situation is helping in Liberia in the face of real poverty, rampant corruption, and other economic nightmare, while one of the Countrys lead policy makers Amara Konneh is at hand of celebrating his controversal award after struggling to clearly state what method would be used to help the already poverty striking Liberians from the evil hands of the inflation rate that is fast approaching 90- 1 in exchange of the US dollar currency for the Liberian legal tender (money) The questionable finance boss at one point in history, blamed the situation to unbalanced of trade in the Liberian economy interims of the wide gap b/w import and exports, which could be a relative far comment, but later flip flop through a recent interview with the BBC by attributing the same situation to what he called the use of dual currency in the Liberian Economy even though he failed to recollect that he issue of dual currency is an old age scenario in the Liberian recorded of life. from one question to another, the BBC Ghanaian reporter further quizzed the 2013 controversal African award wining finance Minister to speak to the face of reality regarding the negative impact of the unwarranted inflation rate on the economy. something he calculativly translated into the old songs of job creation and other so called achievements in the UP lead government. Be it as it may, Mr Konneh is currently puzzyfooting with his London Magazine award only in the name of initiating reforms that are yet to impact the masses. one example from the list those so call reforms could be the finance ministry broad street bill board that is being refereed as open budget initiative that regularly shows the smiling photos and images of the minister. But what remains an issue of debate in the thoughtful minds of outstanding or well schooled elements is whether it was justifiable for the London Based financial times magazine to have awarded Mr. Konneh without a far follow-up on the achievable implementation of his mush talked about reform polices? in the same view, isnt it a troubling news for the Senators to raised the red flag about potential crisis?
