Truck- mounted mosquito spray application is scheduled for Wednesday evening September 11th in the following areas: Holmes Road neighborhoods south from Lori Court to the Lenox Line; roads between West Street and Gale Avenue/railroad line from Fort Hill Avenue to Merriam Street; Wahconah, Clapp, Kirvin and Fred Garner parks. Spraying may be rescheduled for Thursday evening due to rain. A map of scheduled spray areas is available on the City of Pittsfield website at cityofpittsfield.org. Spray application will be done by the Berkshire County Mosquito Control Project between the hours of 10:00 pm and 1:00 am.
