“True Anyhow” “Tithes and Offerings” This is the way we support our churches and pay our workers; starting with the Pastors. Wherever you Fellowship; there should be some type of storehouse to service the needs of the saints not charity driven (need not greed). Saints should be Participating Members of the Society where they Worship at least two years before requiring Storehouse Support (ideally). With understanding; there are exceptions (loss of employment, emergency support, natural disasters, etc …) the general persons that are continuously in need and are not a part of the body of Christ and refuse to work and are not willing to become a Baptized Believer in Christ neither desire to Hear and Listen to the Word of God; (not meaning join your church) should seek their Primary Support from secular venues like alms, gifts, social services, donations or charity organizations and reasonable employment. Why you ask? “Time to Prove All Things” Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Thess 5:21 Also I personally don’t believe it is the right thing to do for the pastor to consider himself lord over Gods inheritance and purchase a plane, a helicopter, and a limousine for his personal use. But that’s just my opinion of moderation ethics. (Neither as being lords over Gods heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 1 Peter 5:3) Believers should join a church under a “watch care” type membership which also gives them time to prove to themselves if this is the place for their spiritual commitment and support. Amen !!
