True Colors by Aaron Clinton What are true colors? True colors are not that of a shade, or hue. True colors are the traits that make you. True colors are not just daily actions True colors are the bits, and the pieces to our personality; no matter how small, even to the smallest of fractions. We are individuals made by the Almighty God in our own special way As an individual, it is our duty to do what needs to be done by us day by day Is it easy? No Sometimes you put a fake smile on because thats all you know. Though this fake smile helps in some ways, its unbeneficial to us, for its the enemy How? Well this fake smile fades my true colors, and i start to forget the real me. For the Devils purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy; and his greatest weapon is life. And hell make it a living nightmare if you let in strife. Dont do what i did, and put on that fake smile. Instead i ask that you get down on your knees and talk to God for awhile. Isiah 59:1- Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ears too dull to hear So please take these words of advice, and encouragement, and let God wipe away that tear I wore that fake smile, and let my true colors fade lightly Though through it all, and with the support of loved ones, and God; my true colors shine brightly.
