True blue stars of past eras, well-known not only for their remarkable talent but iconic personas as well -adorable Goldie Hawn, sultry Kim Novak and film and stage royalty Liza Minelli as well - graced the Oscars last night, but sadly, bewildered more than charmed their admirers. Either their respective cosmetic surgeons did them great disservice or they were simply too stubborn to accept the inevitability of aging, to recognize that in aging there can be much grace and dignity, too.
