True story; I was on break with my co-worker,she started to pick up a shinny penny up of the ground,me being me of course joking to her said man family,do you need a loan? Thats when she began to tell my why she was picking up pennies,she said nita when i was a little girl a old lady told me to pick up pennies when you see the ,because they are blessings from angels in heaven,i have never heard of that,she also said my son got killed when he was 16, he begged me could he go to a dance contest that they was having,and the prize was 300 dollars,he also w.anted to go so that he could buy chirstmas presents for the family,so she decided to let him go.She said swell let me go to the store so that i start dinner,while at the store she bought a lotto scratch off ticket,when she sat down to see if she had won her sons b-day were the winning numbers.Before she could get the understanding out that she won the telephone rang,it was the hospital telling her to get there as soon as she can her son was there.When she got there her son has passed,he won the dance contest,but on his way home the two boys he was with tried to rob him,and the stabbed him to death with a butter knife for his winnings.I got told her that i was so sorry for her loss,she to me it ok ,because the day that she put her baby in the ground,his girlfriend had got very sick come to find out that she was going to have his baby,she also said that her grandson is her son all over again,looks smiles,and just about every thing that he do remind her of her son.Juanita that why i pick up pennies,and i see them more than ever since my son died,I KNOW THAT THEY ARE BLESSINGS,FROM MY SON,and every since he went to heaven I havent had any worries about bills life or anything..WELL now I find myself looking for pennies....JUST SOMETHING TO THIN ABOUT
