True story...my neighbor had a baby boy...she gave him a teething stick...and as babies do he sucked on the teething stick and it broke off...it lodged in his throat...thank God I was home from work that day...I was 8 months pregnant at the time...she came to my door with a blue limp child...not breathing...and tossed the baby at me...I told her to call 911...wasnt sure I could get it out of his throat...but I did...after I got the teething biscuit unlodged from his throat...he began to breath again...it took 911 20 minutes to get to my house...the baby was breathing fine by then and encouraged her to take him in to be checked out...moral of the story...911 can not always get there in time...3-4 minutes without breathing you will die...know how to save a life...I thank God I did...
