True success, I think, is achieved when you have earned the respect of those you respect. When you are there, you dont have to shout it to the world, people will just know. Perception can be everything, but at the end of the day the real deals will stand the test of time. Steve Hawkins asked me if I was fulfilled in my music. There is nothing better than playing on a stage with people who want to be there, performing a show from the heart, and walking away knowing you have done the best you could do. I had a great time playing music with my friends last night at Song of the Mountains. That is what music is all about.
