True yarn now..... I live closely next door to a Buddist Temple and their echoing hall where they worship has a wall that goes so high up and then nothing on the top half of the wall but a few rows of steel bars to keep intruders out where the windows should be. Very open and faces my main living area and where I like to sit just outside of after a long day and watch the world go by. Now every night at this time whilst I sit outside enjoying the peace and quiet and then neck minnut.... BAM every buddist member north of the river comes together to worship in this temple. I shit u not....tonight must be extra special - maybe buddah is making a guest appearance cos theres a sea of munna munna enough to be a small army up in here. They have only 2 instruments a triangle and a little drum and they must only know 1 song. Two other things they have in common is they all have that one off key tone of voice and they are all tone deaf. Then it begins. Full rip, white noise over and over and over and over. See while they are searching for there inner peace....they are totally killin mine. Now to any of my fb peeps who are buddist I mean u no disrespect - each to there own but for the first week it was enlightening. By the second week a little annoying but we made the best of a ad situation and broke it right down in time to the drumbeat till it finally ended but this week it like ohhh munna please! Give a sista a break man! Theres no way I could possibly tolerate a 4th week without me screaming from the top of my lungs what I really think closely followed by me getting mobbed by the whole congregation in my driveway. So after giving it much careful consideration on how we both continue to live side by side harmoniously Ive come up with a few ideas; 1. Buy them a third instrument (maybe mix it up a little?) 2. Teach them a second song or better still...have them sing the remix version of the first song occasionally?! 3. Head on over and challenge them to a battle just like on 8 mile and make it a open house and invite all my crew from the KGB 4. Idk but Im open to suggestions... #girlgoingcraycrayherecantyoutell
