Truism, Schuette has shielded drug companies from liability. Michigan is one of a couple of states that may NOT sue Big Pharmas as in the recent Vioxx case where Michigan lost out on over $20 million in settlement funds for residence within Michigan. There are a number of many other medications that have proven harmful within the US that have been removed from the marketplace, gone through the legal process, damages awarded, and citizens of Michigan left out of receiving awards due them because of the legislation shoved through by the Engler Administration and maintained by the various Republican house or senate majority held through various sessions. This legislation is and has been bad for the State Period, the Only benefactor has been big pharma, U of M, MSU, Detroit but not the citizens, (they) just get us cheaper.....and Schuette is in their Pocket
