Trust In God READ Psalm 62: 1 and 8 Truly my soul waiteth upon God; from Him cometh my salvation… Trust in Him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us God has a plan for each of us, and the timing of every detail is always right. Adhering to Gods timetable, however, requires both faith and courage. We must believe that He knows what He is doing, trust that His plan is right, and have the determination to wait for his timing. Following the Lords schedule can feel difficult but is always to our benefit: 1- because our decision making is flawed; 2-we make choices based on partial information and 3- we cannot clearly discern peoples intentions. God, on the other hand, has complete awareness about our world and the details of every individual life—past, present, and future. (Acts 17:26). The Lord also understands mans every motive (1 Chron. 28:9). and takes action based on truth (Rom. 11:33). He closes doors to prevent mistakes and uses a blockaded opportunity as a useful teaching tool. Just because a path is clear does not mean it is the one God intends for us to follow. Sometimes we wont have the information we need to make a wise decision, so He bars the way either spiritually or physically. The Holy Spirit can see the whole road map for our lives, which is why we are to follow His guidance. Gods ultimate objective is to mould us into the image of His Son, and toward that end, He at times prevents us from doing or having something we desire. Because our God is an all-knowing, wise, and loving heavenly Father, we’ll always benefit when we follow His schedule. Those who follow the Lords schedule will experience the blessing of watching Him work things together for their gain and His glory.
