Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalms 62:8 (KJV) Okay! My trust is in you Lord! So, you want me to pour out all the stuff in my heart? I have a really big list of issues and problems and concerns…you really want me to unload all of that? Well, I find myself battling all these issues and problems and there just does not seem to be any good solutions, and for that matter, any end to the troubles. Why can’t that person figure out that what they are doing is wrong and it is damaging all those around them? Why does someone not realize that the way they treat me and others is extremely selfish? What about that person and the way they act…their obviously not saved? Really? When I look at the issues and problems and concerns that are plaguing me….it all begins with my heart. These issues, or ones like them are with me almost constantly. So as I “pour out” my heart, I should consider that the first and best way to start to resolve any of the problems is to seek God. I need to seek Him and trust His leading in my heart. I can find a refuge in Him to shield me and keep me while all the concerns work their way out as God’s will intends. Father, I do bring my heart before you and pour out my troubles to you today. But most of all I bring my heart before you and pour out all the sin and the residue left from the consequences and pray for forgiveness, and healing, and to have my relationship restored with You! Thank you Father that you are my refuge in any situation. Amen! Thank You
