"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." We find this in Proverbs 3:5-6 and it is very wise counsel from the word of God. We have periods in our life when the pain is so great and the questions so profound that we can hardly see the light of day, much less a steep, crooked path. But God..... I am glad the Bible contains those two words! And, we see them usually following an impossible situation or extremely bad news. He is able. But we must trust Him. All the way. Jesus is not a magician who waves His wand and makes everything perfect. He is our Savior and Friend who walks with us every step of the way as He shares our suffering and feels our pain. For that we should all be grateful-even in the midst of our pain.
