Trust me when I say, it takes a special person to make me mad. I was at Walmart buying school supplies with 2 of my little cousins. We had two carts full of supplies. A lady in line stood behind us watching our every move. Finally, she says to me. You know you wouldnt have to buy so many supplies and watch the price so closely if you would stop having so many DAMN children. I turned to her and told her that the school supplies were for a school supply drive that we were having at our church and that we help people in our community. She stood there shocked and couldnt say a word. 10 minutes later as the cashier is still scanning, she tried to explain herself. What possible explanation could you have for such an ignorant assumption? This is a drive that I head up every single year and I have never had anyone say anything so rude to me. I know the Lord is working on me because a few years ago I would have been carried out of Walmart for her making those comments. On top of that, she had the nerve to curse and say it with so much conviction. The good thing is......... the cashier checks me out every year with this school supply drive. She told me she always respects how much she sees me in there buying stuff for the youth. She was especially surprised at how well I handled the situation. She asked for the address of our church because she and her husband have been wanting to go to church again. Had I handled the situation another way, she probably wouldnt have asked for the address to New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. On another note, thank GOD my Momma wasnt there. We would have been bailing her out of jail. She would have snatched that woman up. God was on that woman side and she didnt even know it.
