Truth in Love: I think we sometimes forget that the Truth is likened to a knife/sword in the Bible. We just toss it around, only concerned with what it is, not concerned with what it is doing once it leaves us. Be careful how you give it and receive it- im a witness. - When its a healing truth, its like a surgeons scalpel. Before you start slicing, you have to first give them an anesthesia- love, positive words, affirmation, etc. Otherwise, youre just a butcher. - When its a deliverance/liberating truth, you have to be quick and skillful with it, like a sword. You have to first separate the captives mind from their captivity, otherwise they will resist and fight to preserve who they think they are. - When it is a inconvenient/necessary truth, intended to preserve and defend an all out attack, you may need to wield it from afar, like an arrow. The best way to handle truth though, in my experience, is to give truth in Love. This way, you dont even have to worry about truth. Just focus on love, and let love take care of the truth.
