Truth though is that: as yet, there are zero randomised controlled trial (the gold standard of field research) results linking any sanitary pad distribution schemes with empirical evidence of improved female educational outcomes. So the causal link is inferred from intuition not data or hard evidence.... Bright Simmons Trust me I know this guy, he doesnt talk by heart, frankly he is one of the smartest people I have met! he is right, he has gone through mountains of the research, in other words there is no basis for saying the lack of sanitary pads prevent school attendance! HOW THE FRIGGING HECK DO OUR POLICY MAKERS ARRIVE AT THIER DECISIONS???????? anyway, its the same people who brought us 1. condom tax, which was withdrawn for being silly 2. the Cedi stabilization policies which destabilized the Cedi 3. The decision to fly $3m which has made us an international disgrace 4. who said our economic woes are due to our anti gay stance 5. The Cedi is being affected by dwarves 6. The Cedi is being affected by high rise buildings etc etc etc... Frankly speaking why are we surprised???
