#TruthBeTold - TERRORISM versus DEMOCRACY Let us have a #PeopleParliament here. Lets be very factual and objective Enough of the drama, accusations and counter accusations because if it is about all that, there is enough blame to go round at least 5 times!! Nations who face the challenge of terrorism come together, they unite to face the common enemy that endangers the society. This is not so much about Jonathan but about TERRORISM VERSUS DEMOCRACY!!! So, lets task our intellectual brains positively: _ 1. Some people say we should continue to task GEJ and Government, solely to bring our girls back and deal with terrorism. I say it concerns us all. The international community have most likely gotten data and passed it on. The committee set up to collect data came back from Borno etc., yesterday. It is a serious situation because I believe there are loads of information that are delicate and explosive. Also, Boko Haram are definitely using the girls as human shields, pawns and bargaining tools. In this situation there is need for caution...or isnt there? But the pathetic thing is that TIME is against the plight of our school girls because everyday lost is dangerous for them...that is if Boko Haram are being truthful and the girls are intact. So what do you advice??? 2. Some people say, we should really direct the protest against Boko Haram to release our girls... (some groups have already commenced the rally. In Abuja - a group came up on Sunday, another group today and another coming up in Lagos on Sunday. As in the diverse opinions, I hear some people say, they are sponsored as was said and being said about the #BringOurGirlsBack rallies. They syndrom of: Damned if you do and damned if you dont). I am of the opinion that that is partically correct - anger should be channelled, as well, agains the people who have abducted our girls!!! We started with addressing the Government to #BringBackOurGirls and demanded #InternationalCommunities to come to our aid with their own ways of addressing #terrorism , #insurgency and #kidnappings etc., Now we have all the worlds attention - we need to come together and denounce, in no uncertain terms, Boko Haram. I believe that the focus should not really be on what the President has done or has not done. If we continue this way it will be almost an endorsement of the activities of Boko Haram But I also say, if we direct the anger against Boko Haram...what really would that do??? These terrorists dont have a conscience at all. So appealing to them wont have any effect unless it is followed up by action by the Government.....
