Try this experiment. Hide your friends cell phone and watch them freak out. Theyll have lost that thing. That thing that they had. That thing that is theirs. That thing. Its lost to them. And watch. They will change as a person. Behaving confused and afraid. Wandering and bewildered. All priorities become sharply changed to find the thing they lost. They may even accuse you of taking it and accost you. Convert that physical experiment to a spiritual concept. That soul mates exist. Many understand a soul mate to be a romantic one other. The person that completes you. Its not exactly true. But there is truth to it. Much of what is happening in the world weighing down the hearts and souls of people is to do with attachment. Not just material things. But of the things beyond our scope of sight. Some call it God. Some call it the universe. Whatever label used to define that greater consciousness, it is significant and impactful towards everyones livelyhood. Soul mate. Twin flame. Ones counterpoint in another. A lifes worth of time still pictured in material essence. Whole and intact with no missing pieces. Not because the two make a whole. But because the two are one and the same. I believe soul mates can and often do exist separately from each other. Seeking to connect. Longing and wanting. Demanding and pleading to be found. Dissspointed many many times before we do. Often after we examine ourselves and retrace where we are, what we are doing, and who/what/where weve been, do we realize what has to happen to find one another. Not very different from losing a cell phone because it is another form of attachment. Execept that the cell phone is not sentient. The cell phone is without choice and without ability to take a big step back and a deep breath to usher the initiative to pursue an innate priority. It will not get discouraged and run into dispair. In our minds it may beckon us. Begging to be found. But it will not act. It cannot. To find your soul mate you must act. You must begin a journey...
