Trying to catch up on your Sunday reading? Start here. This being a fitness page and all, I feel the need to share. Please pass it on. The Biggest Loser has long been seen as a show for motivation ... but theres nothing motivating about UNREALISTIC expectations. This show promotes the unhealthiest of fitness styles: allowing contestants less than 1,000 calories per day, 5-8 hour daily workouts, and demeaning and humiliating talk from production and the trainers. While I dont ever post negative things, I believe this isnt so much negative but rather informative. Please read this article and share. Losing 30 lbs in one week is so far from healthy ... its absolutely awful and this article is gut wrenching to read. Please dont support this show unless watching people helplessly humiliate themselves on TV is your thing. (its not mine ... I vetoed the show years ago.) So what are your thoughts?
