Trying to get all my work done today so I can have tomorrow free to watch the race. I am trying to give NASCAR the benefit of the doubt right now, but will hold my final decision to see how they handle this mess. Still do not understand how Jimmie Johnson could get a stiff penalty that cost him a win when he jumped a restart, and yet Carl Edwards obviously jumped a restart with no penalty. I was very glad to hear they gave Jeff Gordon a spot in the chase. That was the first step to making this mess right. Since Clint Boyer was really the one that started this mess, why is he not being punished severely? Sunday NASCAR pre race show will be interesting. They better have some good answers. Those of us who are long time NASCAR fans are watching very closely. I really hope this is not the beginning of the demise of NASCAR!!!!
