Trying to maintain the balance between caring for justin and caring for his younger siblings isnt easy. Im so emotionally torn at times. Today we spent the morning at the flea market with Jennifer and Nathan. It was good to take a break and enjoy being parents to two healthy children after weeks of sitting in a hospital room. Nathan got to experience his first carnival style ride on his own. Hes growing up so fast!! Afterward we went to the hospital and visited justin for a while. Some friends if his arrived while we were there. Seeing his friends cry for my son will never be easy. He started storming towards the end of the visit. :-/ Tomorrow Im going to try to get in touch with a social worker at the hospital. We need to get the truancy notice I received sorted out and finalize how all this is getting paid for. We also need to start discussing next steps. Scary to realize we are thinking about a future, not just today.
