Trying to put another crazy idea in to practice,i want to swap front drivers and passenger seat for a full bench seat in mk1, but not just a standard bench, one that flips over to make sofa in to the back and then folds out flat to make bed if possible. ive researched it a lot but can not come up with a firm design, or even were to start making this on a shoe string, there is your standard rock and roll bed but this would need to widened to fit our fat old vans. also found reversible train seat and flip caddy fleetwood limo mid seat (links below) am i attempting the impossible or stupid?
