Tudor Trivia! Its not just ships that have been called Mary Rose. During the first Gulf War one of the Jaguar strike aircraft in 41 Squadron, XZ356/N, was called Mary Rose. While the nose art appears to depict a nun in a state of some undress (although, compared to some of the other aircraft nose art in the squadron, this is practically chaste!), the banner at the bottom would suggest that the legacy of the Tudor Warship wasnt far from the mind of the artist...
