Tehillim- chabad.org/dailystudy/tehillim.asp?tdate=3/18/2014&lang=heb Tehillim Eng.- chabad.org/dailystudy/tehillim.asp?tdate=3/18/2014 ********************************************* Tues. Torah at length- A fire descended and consumed the burnt offering & fat on the altar & the people sang praises. Arons sons Nadav & Avihu put incense in their pan and burnt it on the altar without G-d commanding them..they were both consumed by a G-dly fire..but their bodies intact. Rashi says he deduced they were drunk since right after it Hashem tells Aron directly-as a reward for not complaining- not to enter the sanctuary/altar (or give halachic judgement) while intoxicated. Moshe told Arons first cousins -amram brothers sons-to remove the 2 dead bodies by their tunics so as not to disturb the occasion. Aron & his sons were told not to mourn by not cutting their hair or garments..which is what mourners do..but all of Israel will mourn for them-when a scholar dies it effects all the people.
