Tuesday; 29th October, 2013 THEME: UNTIL CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU- Gal 4:19 Topic: UNDERSTANDING & PURSUING YOUR VISION- Part 3 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, ARISE,AND GO INTO THE CITY and it shall be told thee what thou must do. Act 9:6 KJV. ...ARISE and GO INTO THE CITY... These things that God is expounding to us seems little and almost abstract but these things must be well considered for a man that will be able to access Gods Vision for his life. You cannot fulfil or understand Purpose until you pay attention to all of these little but valuable details. Thank God that Paul paid attention to these things. So many of us can easily note a man that is doing fine in his career or pursuits but we look less to the details of his rising. As we saw yesterday, God expounded to us the word ARISE AND as HE spoke to Paul and we were relating it to our lives as instruments also in Gods hand yet as a Son. 1. NOW, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND Now you must understand this statement ARISE AND GO INTO THE CITY! Which man should go into the city? The encountered man. As he moves in the city, which man should the people be seeing? the encountered man. As he talks in the city, which man should be talking? The encountered man. As Paul lives in the city, which life should be seen? The encountered life. God did not ask Paul not to go into city and return to a village but eventhough Paul had to go into a city, it must be the encountered Paul that must be seen. This lifestyle must not be contrary to the encounter he had. However civilized the city seems to be, Paul must still be able to reflect the fact that he has got an encounter from the Lord. Reflection: Are you born again yet there is not trace of Salvation in your life because of CIVILIZATION? If Salvation could not reflect in your way of life just because of CIVILIZATION, possibly we should conclude either that you were never encountered or that you didnt wait for POST-ENCOUNTER INSTRUCTIONS. 2. POST-ENCOUNTER INSTRUCTIONS If you are privileged to have sustained encounter with the Lord, then you must patiently wait before running out of the encounter atmosphere for INSTRUCTIONS that will preserve you in the encounter. Each encounter must be backed up with INSTRUCTIONS if it will not fade away without living testimony. These words we are considering today are POST-ENCOUNTER INSTRUCTIONS that God gave to Paul. This post-encounter instruction is Gods way of preserving his children in their encounter. Will you want God to preserve you? Then you must seek HIM for POST-ENCOUNTER INSTRUCTIONS. Prayer: Seek God for what HE will want to tell you even about Salvation that you have not understood fully before moving into the city.
