Venus and Uranus combine this afternoon to bring surprises Sometimes life is pushing us to make changes - to evolve - develop and make progress and this is not always comfortable. What is easy and relaxing is when the progress comes at the end of a struggle towards a goal that we want to attain. Today, however, is the kind of push that comes when we are not expecting it - towards a goal that is an unknown leap in the dark. Today could be one of those leaps in relationships - a dive-in moment and then a breakthrough - a leap forward that seemed just a moment before, seemed impossible. In the book Future Shock by Alvin Toffler, he writes about the adaptive range and how we have a coping mechanism that when stretched too far brings irritability and break-down. If it feels like too much, go back to your comfort zone and talk yourself through it, walk and if find comfort in whatever is your style, console yourself with something good to eat, a walk in nature, a good book, meditation or movement. Just know that if you are hit hard, it is an indication that you are being asked to evolve and grow. For today, know that those people who challenge us are our teachers, and they are there to remind us of doors that we have yet to walk through and wisdom that is waiting on the other side.
