Tuesday, it is Christmas Eve, and as families and friends gather in the next couple of weeks, be safe and enjoy each others company... Yesterday I had the boys and needed to make a quick run to the grocery. So we all jump into the Durango and off we go. I figured while we were out, we could see if there was something at the store they might want for lunch, and if not, I would stop and get them drive thru. Well Connor found something he wanted, a $19 container of shrimp tails with shrimp sauce. I told him no because it was frozen. Nineteen dollars, for lunch, for just him, jeez, okay if it wasnt frozen I would have bought it and yall know it. Connor ended up with McDonalds and Cody got Burger King... I FINALLY got to see the whole Phantom of the Opera play yesterday. It was great. I then watched Daddy Long Legs with Fred Astaire and Leslie Caron, before I went to bed. I am such a sappy romantic.... Todays thought - The love and caring we share right now, in this holiday season, should NOT be reserved just for a couple of weeks a year. This should be the STANDARD we set for ourselves for the entire year...
