Tunisia may miss the service of their striker Saber Khalifa for the group stage of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. The Club Africain striker now faces a two-week spell on the sideline following a muscle injury he picked up in Tunisias friendly match against Algeria that ended with 1-1 draw. The 28-year-old player failed to complete the Afcon warm-up match in Tunis and was replaced. According to reports, Tunisia head coach, Georges Leekens, will wait to assess the extent of the players injury before making a decision. Khalifa is now expected to undergo medical tests this week to determine the exact duration of days or weeks he might spend on the sidelines. The striker, who is on loan at Club Africain from Olympique Marseille, will not be the first player Tunisia could lose for the Afcon. Already, Hertha Berlin midfielder, Anis Ben-Hatira has been ruled out of the African tournament after he suffered a toe injury. Tunisia will move to Equatorial Guinea for the Afcon this week after they cancelled the friendly match against Mali earlier planned for January 14. The Carthage Eagles will play in the same group with Zambia, Cape Verde and DR Congo.
