Turkish News Agency Shows AKP Party Winning in Early Election Results...Except the Election Has Not Happened Yet A Turkish news agency, Anadolu Agency, put the early election results on the front page of their website aasecim/default.aspx earlier today. This was rather odd considering that the elections have not happened yet and will start on Sunday, March 30. Like many news outlets getting ready for Sundays elections, Anadolu Agency published graphics they would use, except they showed the AKP party winning by 72.78% of the vote at 48.8% of the votes counted which seems very unrealistic. The episode reminded many of Azerbaijan elections in 2013 when the president was declared the winner before elections even started. Erdogan and his AKP party have been under increasing pressure after Erdogan had Twitter and Youtube banned. Recently, phone calls have been leaked showing corruption at high levels of government and a plot to start a war with Syria. More articles about Turkey at revolution-news/?s=turkey
