Regarding the hydrocarbon drilling Erdoğan said that Ankara will continue to defend the rights of the Turkish Cypriots against all forms of Greek Cypriot “intransigence”. “We shall also continue to show all necessary effort to use oil and natural gas as a means to bring peace and prosperity to the region” he added.
