Turnpike Country 2009 solid Paint. Was AAA on the track, won about 40k. He was started on the pattern last fall and has been taken slow. He just got back from the trainer who kept him for thirty days and worked on his handle. He is cruising a nice pattern and is placing in the 3d and 4d with much more speed to give. He is a push style horse. He is around 16.0 to 16.1 hands. He is very easy going and does not have any bad habits. Lopes circle, catches leads, side passes, backs and stops well. Rides in a jr cowhorse dog bone. Has pushed cattle and spent long hours on trail rides. The reason for selling is that he does not fit my riding style and I prefer a shorter horse. Will consider trades. He needs someone that is light handed and that will stay out of his mouth and let him work. Has been hauled to multiple arenas and stayed overnight. He is UTD on everything. Eats well, hauls well, shoes, stands tied, stalls well and pastures well with others( not a dominate horse). He is very gentle and loves attention, in your pocket. Only to good home.
