Twelve players were selected at the LCHL Fall Entry Draft on Sunday evening at the Lord Beaverbrook Rink as the league gears up for opening night on Thursday, October 23 at the Peter Murray Arena. Ben Miller was the overall first pick going to the Chiefs. Kyle Lockhart was chosen second by the Fairville Shooters Alpines. Brad Tesink returns to the LCHL taken third by the Chiefs. Jeff Bergeron was selected fourth by the Hampton Mooselights. Stephen Sutherland went in the number five slot to Becketts Lumberkings. Joyces Trailer Rentals Canadians used the number six position to secure Nils Tougard. Becketts Lumberkings select Brant Allan with the seventh selection. Doirons Sports Mooseheads close out the first round choosing Conrad Arsenault. In the second round the Lumberkings had back to back picks and took Chris McDonald and followed up snagging Andrew McPherson. The Chiefs reclaimed Pat Lyons who toiled a number of seasons with the Chiefs. The final pick in the fall entry draft had the Canadians claim Simon Barton. Goaltender Shane Ouellette was claimed by the Joyces Trailer Canadians to replace Shawn Galbraith who moves over to the Wheelers.
