Twelve years ago this week, Dad received his 50 years in ministry pin. I was licensed the same night. I miss you, Daddy, but I am so grateful for the legacy you left! You were and always will be my hero and mentor, and I have met very few who could hold a candle to your preaching, teaching, and commitment to the truth in the Gospel. There are so many times I think WWJD: What Would James Do!!! And then I have to smile because you would say Were gonna make it, and grin! Yep, Daddy, a good sense of humor does go a long, long way.
