The group is formed by Ryan from America, Christina from Ghana and Josh from their base town, Manchester. The band formed in 2008 through The Message Trusts evangelism training course ‘Message Academy’ where each member developed a burning passion to make a difference in this world through the music they make and the faith that they have. They are religiously promising! The name Twelve24 comes from John 12:24 in the bible which says ‘I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. (NLT)‘. For the band its so much more than concerts, tours and music, its about offering young people a hope and a future through a new life in Jesus. They debuted in 2011 with their first EP “Better Words” and last year they also released their debut album “Tell the Truth“. The band is finally back, better than ever with promising new single called “Higher“. A sublime deep house infused track mixing a great vocals with a touch of hip-hop. The single will be released on digital retailers on January 9, 2015. The music video directed by Bruce Marshall, David Hailes, and Tim Owen was premiered on Vevo on December 24th.
