Twenty-five years ago today God sent to me the gift of a little girl. So tiny and perfect I remember thinking how lucky I was not only to have a son but now a beautiful daughter . My mind went to bows and frills and all the pink one could imagine but it wasnt long before I caught a glimps of the strong minded child that was to be my Kara. The bows hurt her head The frills were scratchy and well pink was just not going to work. Twenty-one years later Kara you gifted me with a granddaughter so much like you sometimes I am in awe. Through one adventure after another I stand by you and remember the very first time I h eld you and I still thank God. You are only who you want to be I love you Kara. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
