Twenty-three years ago today I made the best decision of my life, marrying Pieter VanderWerf, who remains the kindest, most-patient and selfless person Ive ever met. (And goddamn it, those abs!) I will continue to roll my eyes at his terrible puns and make fun the goofy way he dances, but thats only to keep his ego in check. I am grateful every day he puts up with me and sincerely hope my lucky streak continues for many more years to come.
