Twenty years ago one man opened a purpose-built comedy club in Birmingham. Two decades later, The Glee Club has seen the biggest names in comedy perform on its stage and is held up as the blueprint for how to run comedy venues across the country. It was started by a banker, with a hundred thousand pounds invested by friends and family. Ben Sidwells been to the birthday celebrations to find out whats made Glee so successful.
