Twenty years ago today my first baby was born. I was only 19 and scared to death, but I swear in the beginning God spoke to me. He told me not to worry, & everything would be all right. I assumed she was special from that point on. My pregnancy was easy with her, & while we always felt like we were messing up, she has turned out beautifully. She is everything I could ask for- smart, beautiful, sweet, talented and so much more. Above all else, she is compassionate. She has my blessing/ curse / gift of empathy. (Sorry about that, Ash). She is also one of my best friends. She still has the whole world ahead of her, and she is going to take it by storm. Happy Birthday, Ashley . I hope you have an awesome day, despite not being 100% free for the day.
