Twice, I got a strange and unusual message from a girl: Write a story about the girls in your life. You are a beautiful writer, it will be an interesting read. I choked on my regular drink the first time I got the message. If I wrote about the women in my life, will you read? I remember sharing an experience with a friend and she broke into tears. My first love experience is documented - a complete 80-leaves of foolscap sheets. The love had so much pain to it that I could not complete it. So, I abandoned. Over the years, ladies have defined my tragedies in grave ways. At some point, I developed a memory for the unfortunate things. Because with relationships came hope, I gave up on hope-full things. In the end, I began to love the impossible things for they have no hope in them except that which we ascribe to them. I love the impossible things, not because I intend to make possibilities out of them but because they are made to not work. *sighs* This morning, my brother and friend sent me a message from the UK. It was about a certain damsel in his life. And though we kept saying lol, it grieved me for I could see my pain in his pain. If only my momma would let me live without a woman in the picture, Ill forever be happy. Maybe.
