Twin Valley Customers, A global computer virus is being distributed through email called Cryptolocker. Once infected, files on your computer as well as network shares get encrypted and the only way to decrypt them and get your files back is to send money as a ransom in exchange for the decryption key. The virus is easy to get rid of but getting rid of the virus does not decrypt the files. It’s been targeting businesses by the usual methods. One of the concerns is that they have been using fake UPS and FedEx notification emails. So, just as a reminder please be very careful about any links you click on in your email and on the web. Below is a link to a story from the Clay Center Dispatch with more information.
