Twinspirations Toastmasters held our Club level International Humorous & Table Topics speech contest last night, (August 21) Dipak Narayan, Club Mentor, was our Contest Chairperson and did a wonderful job hosting the event. Jim Pavlinksy, Area 15 Governor presented Certificates to our winners and participants. Congratulations to Bala Chilukuri, Winner of our Humorous Speech Contest, followed by Second Place winner, Sujata Raghavan. Congratulations to Sravanthi Vallampati who won first place in the Table Topics and Sujata Raghavan who won second place. Also participating in both contests was Nithya Pasumarthi. Area Governor Pavlinksy expressed enthusiasm toward the level of motivation in our club and complimented all for a fine contest. Others who played an important role were Malathi Jala, Timer, Tom Mazanec, Sergeant at Arms, Dennis Deegan, Chief Judge and our contest judges, which must remain anonymous. We also welcomed special guests, Mamatha Ramegowda and daughter Kshama. Mila Zheltova was a guest for the first time and learned about Twinspirations at the Open House for the Gaveliers, a student Speakers Club at the Chamberlain Middle School. Our next club meeting for Twinspirations Toastmasters is on August 26 at 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Clinic, Twinsburg location. We meet in the Education Classroom, lower level.
