Two Broche draperie by Cartier Paris. The sapphire and diamond one on the left of 1913, was once owned by Marie-Emilie, countess Esterházy. The right broche made in 1912, is combining Aquamarines and diamonds, belonged Olga Princess Paley and is part of a parure. Cartier named “broche draperie” those pendant brooches formed by two elements joint together by a pin, to which the pendant would be suspended, originally a “guirlande” style drape. love DArtagnan.
