Two amazing and inspiring women will be joining us as Guest Speakers, this Friday, as we celebrate International Womens Month! Come Join Us! Nicole Mussenden is a visionary servant leader with over 20 years of top flight management experience in diverse industries. She is a seasoned business executive who has contributed significantly to the bottom line of such companies as Fox Networks, ESPN, Madison Square Garden Networks and National Grid. Nicole Mussenden is a recipient of the Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Fellowship, Walter Kaitz Fellowship, Harlem YMCA Black Achievers in Industry (BAI) award, the Fox Networks Integrated Sales & Marketing award and the Fox Networks STAR award. She served as President of the National Society of Black Engineers Alumni Association, board member for the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) New York chapter and has devoted countless hours to developing, mentoring and serving others, especially girls. Nicole Mussenden has an MBA in marketing and non-profit management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Bachelor of Engineering degree in civil engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. HON. MUNAH E. PELHAM-YOUNGBLOOD Hon. Munah E. Pelham-Youngblood, is an Ex-Beauty Queen and former Miss Malaika Liberia, Entrepreneur and Fashion Icon turned Politician She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications/Sociology from the University of Liberia. Presently, she is pursuing a Masters’ Degree in International Relations at the IBB School of International Studies at the University of Liberia. A philanthropist who supports several organizations and orphanages, she founded an [NG0] in memory of her late father “The Walter Pelham Memorial Humanitarian & Educational Foundation” for needy individuals. Hon Pelham started her political career working as a State Protocol Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1999 to 2003. She served as a student political leader of a political party she founded called “Muibae” while she ran for the Presidency of the Senior Class in 2009. Known as an Activist serving both her Community and County, she was elected to the 53rd Legislature in October of 2011 and represents District #9 in Montserrado County. She is the Secretary General of the Montserrado County Legislative Caucus and the Executive Member of the major opposition party known as The Congress For Democratic Change. She is the Co-Chair for National Affairs of the Women’s Legislative Caucus and a member of several Standing & Statutory Committees of the House of Representatives including Foreign Affairs, Gender & Child Development Youth & Sports Public Utilities Banking & Currency.
