Two cases of measles have been confirmed on the Gold Coast. Measles is extremely contagious so if you or your children have visited the locations below on the identified days please check your vaccination status. Be alert and seek medical advice for symptoms of the measles such as fever, tiredness, cough, runny nose and red inflamed eyes. The symptoms usually become more severe over three days. A blotchy, dark red rash will then appear usually beginning at the hairline.
