Two days ago, I unfortunately learned that my Popop, my grandfather, had passed away. I honestly dont know what Im supposed to do, especially on Thanksgiving. I had a wonderful day with my family, but during moments alone, I keep thinking about him and how I am really going to miss him and how I wish I had been able to say goodbye. Popop, along with my Baba, always kept telling me that my mind is a basket, and who we are and what we learn all depends on what we keep putting in that basket, and that I should never ever stop trying to fill that basket with knowledge and good things. And I hope I have filled my basket with good things and I hope that I always will. I will never forget that advice Popop and I will never forget you. You will be dearly missed and Im sorry that I was too concentrated on my own problems and sadness that I didnt visit you these past few months. I love you dearly, I miss you dearly, and I bid you a fond farewell. I dont know what or even if there is something next, but if we do get to meet again, I hope I get to show you a full basket full of many wondrous things to show you. Thank you for giving it to me.
